Be it with the ball or bat, Sneh Rana is always on the lookout to contribute on the field. A busy cricketer, Sneh loves challenges, and she has often delivered under pressure. Her unbeaten knock of 80 off 154 balls that helped India draw the 2021 Test against England in Bristol is one fondly remembered by fans of Indian cricket. With Taniya Bhatia, she put on a solid, unbroken stand of 104 runs for the 9th wicket, denying England a win on home soil. The fact that it was her Test debut makes the feat even more impressive.
Sneh rose through the ranks playing domestic cricket for Punjab and made her international debut in 2014 at the age of 19. Over the years, Sneh has produced some memorable performances for Team India, including bowling figures of 8/77 in the 2024 home Test against South Africa, becoming only the second Indian bowler to pick eight wickets in a women’s Test match after Neetu David.
Now an experienced campaigner, Sneh was an important part of India’s 2025 ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup winning campaign. Sneh is known, not only for her left-arm orthodox spin bowling exploits, but also her ability to hit the ball hard down the order.
