A crafty left-arm spinner and an absolute livewire in the field, Radha Yadav made her India debut at the tender age of 17 when she played against South Africa in a T20I. Originally from Maharashtra, Radha shifted base to Baroda and is the first woman cricketer from the Gujarat team to be picked in the Indian team.
While her strong domestic performances earned her an international debut at such a young age, she was quick to impress on the global stage as well. Picked for India’s T20 World Cup 2018 squad shortly after her debut, Radha ended the tournament as India’s joint-highest wicket-taker with eight wickets in just five matches.
She also went on to make her ODI debut in 2021 and was part of the Indian team that created history by winning the 2025 ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup. Having played in multiple T20 World Cups and still only 25 years old, Radha is also one of only two women to have taken more than 100 wickets in T20Is for India. After close to 90 T20Is, she boasts of a healthy bowling average of just above 19 in the shortest format.
