Born in 1996, in Karnataka, Prasidh Krishna is a tall right-arm pacer who enjoys bowling full throttle and challenge the batters’ defence. He made his first-class Debut in the year 2015. Representing Karnataka in domestic cricket, the pacer played a key role in his state side’s title winning Vijay Hazare Trophy campaign in 2017-18.
Prasidh made his international Debut in 2021, where he claimed an ODI match-winning four-wicket haul against England in Pune. Injuries may have interrupted his bowling career but there has been no shortage of intensity and belief when Prasidh Krishna runs in to bowl. The right-arm pacer made a spirited comeback by entering the longest format of the game, making his Test Debut against South Africa in Centurion.
